Speaking to the press in Eldoret town, Korir said he is best suited to replaced the incumbent.
Korir vied for the seat but he was defeated.
The seat is currently being held by Soy member of parliament Caleb Kositany who has declared his interets for the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat.
"I want to declare my interest for the Soy parliamentary seat in broad day light, I want to ensure that the lives of the electorates are improved through empowerment projects meant for women, people with disability and youths," said KUPPET vice chairman.
He says he will ensure that all roads in the constituency staff passable.
Korir will be vying using the deputy President William Ruto's party UDA.
"As I am talking the roads in Soy constituency are in a pathetic condition , my first priority wil be to ensure that the roads are murramed to ease movement of goods and services," said the Kuppet official.
He called on residents to elect him saying his leadership will be people people oriented.
"I urge residents to support my candidature and I promise to work for them for a better Soy Constituency.Other Counties will be bencharking in our County due to the development projects that we need having in the next few ikk venues years," he said.
Uasin Gishu County speaker David Kiplagat has also declared his interest for the same.
Korir further called on residents to vote for the deputy president William Ruto in the fourthcoming elections saying he is best suited to replace the incumbent president Uhuru Kenyatta who is serving his second and last term in office.
"I want to call upon Kenyans from all divides to. vote for the deputy president William Ruto since he is the best leader who can transform the Country to greater heights ," he said.
