Kenyans went to the polls yesterday to vote for the next government, which will run for five years. The results from different areas have started coming in after yesterday's election, in which only a small number of people showed up to vote.
Sospeter Ojaamong, who is leaving his job as governor of Busia Hon, has admitted defeat in the Teso South constituency. After his two terms as governor ended, Ojaamong decided to run for a seat in parliament.

The source, the Standard Digital, says that Geoffrey Omusa and Emase of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) are ahead of Ojaamong right now.
The source hasn't said how many votes the candidate with the most at this point.
The Busia county in the western part of Kenya is home to the Teso South constituency.
Kenyans are also waiting to find out who their new president-elect will be. So far, Deputy President William Ruto is in the lead with 51%, and Raila Odinga is in second place with 47%.
