Kikuyu Mp Kimani Ichungwa on Sunday evening spilled the beans on how the deputy president William Ruto had initially warned former Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko not to use vulgar language in his meeting. The DP allied MP was answering back to his Jubilee collegue allied to the handshake movement who had incuniated that the DP did nothing when his allies abused the president.
The Kieni MP had brought a handsight information on how the DP in his meetings was clapping when his footsoilders we're busy disrespecting the president infront of him. However Kikuyu Mp stated how Sonko found himself in the venue he uttered the unspeakable words.
He said that he was the one who offered governor Sonko his seat at the podium where he spoke. He said that once the DP saw the former governor in his presence, he then proceeded to warn the governor from using vulgar language in his meetings infront of other leaders.
So Ichungwa told Kanini Kega that he can openly say for a fact that the DP has not once nor twice defend the president behind the scenes. He said DP Ruto has warned them from attacking the president since he holds utmost respect for him.
