The Jubilee party has given a direct ticket to Aloise Kinyanjui who is the brother of the Gatundu south MP Moses Kuria to run for the Juja parliamentary race in the august 9 general elections.
Kinyanjui will now face off with George Koimburi who won the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket. Koimburi is a former ally of Moses Kuria.
Initially, the Aloise had planned to vie on his brother's Chama cha Kazi ticket but later changed his mind when Moses Kuria joined William Ruto Kenya kwanza alliance.
It is Moses Kuria who introduced Koimburi, his brother's challenger into elective politics through his disbanded People's Empowerment Party (PEP) in a by-election held last year in Juja Constituency.
It is now becoming difficult to Moses Kuria to declare his Support for either of the two candidates with one being his brother and the other his ally.
Jubilee party recently rebranded and is looking to bounce back in the 2022.
