Hillary Barchok Wins The Bomet Gubernatorial Seat after Beating Isaac Ruto.

The United Democratic Alliance party has for another time shows its supremacy in the Rift Valley region after winning the Bomet gubernatorial seat in the just concluded general elections in the country.

This comes after the party's candidate for Bomet county governor race honourable Hillary Barchok wins the seat against his main competitor the Chama Cha Mashinani party leader honourable Isaac Rutto who is also the county's first governor.

Bonet Governor Hillary Barchok was on Friday declared winner after defeating his close rival Isaac Rutto. He garnered a total of 158,798 votes against Isaac Ruto with 137,323 votes.

In other news, the partys senatorial candidate honourable Hillary Sigei also clinches the Senate seat after beating his rival. In women representative race, honourable Linet Chepkorir also won the seat under the United Democratic Alliance party putting the Bomet County under the influence of the hustler nation party in the just concluded elections.
