While speaking at Citizen TV on Tuesday morning, Kandara Member Of Parliament Alice Wahome has revealed the seat the people of Mt. Kenya region will be given in Deputy President William Ruto's Government if he clinch power in 2021. According to Wahome, the seat of second in power will go to Mt Kenya region and that has already been agreed.
"There are no alliance talk between Raila and Ruto. These are speculation create by Kieleweke team. You can verify from Raila whether there are talks between him and Raila. I can confirm that Ruto is not ready to work with Raila. There are no permanent enemies in politics what matters is Political interests. The Mt Kenya region will occupy the second highest seat in Ruto's Government and that has been agreed and that is why Mt Kenya will stick with Ruto," revealed Hon. Alice Wahome.
While speak about the BBI, the legislator said that there is a tag of war between Raila Odinga's camp and that of President Uhuru within the taskforce.
"There's no agreement in the joint committee. Raila is not happy at how the Constituency were distributed. The handshake are not agreeing. First, President is a part of the BBI meeting and he never went to campaign only Raila was always moving around in those meetings. Now there are allegations that they want to extend the term of the president of the current regime," Alice Wahome.
