Migori governor Ochillo Ayacko has been accused of plotting the removal of the County Public Service Board. This is after the fracas that ensued yesterday in the county assembly premise's. The county assembly speaker called for a special sitting via a gazette notice to consider a petition calling for the removal of the board member's. The board is currently chaired by former Awendo town lawmaker Jared Kopiyo.
In the special meeting yesterday, MCA's started making noise as the deputy speaker Matthew's Chacha, majority leader and and South Sakwa MCA Ken Ouma started the session without them. Angry ward representatives then invaded the assembly, before pushing Ouma to the ground in the ensuing melee. This resulted to him falling down on two female colleague's, one of them who got injured in the process.
Nominated MCA Stella Ombonya was rushed to the nearby Migori County Referral after she was hurt.
