Wiper leaders claim that without Kalonzo's support Raila and Ruto cannot cross 50% vote mark

The Wiper leaders in Kalonzo's party say that Kenya may be forced to repeat the polls come August if Kalonzo fails to support either Ruto or Raila and decides to pursue his presidential bid.

Led by the Matungulu MP Stephen Mule, the political leaders claim that neither the Kenya Kwanza flag bearer William Ruto nor his counterpart Azimio la Umoja Alliance flag bearer Raila Odinga, will win the presidency without Kalonzo's support.

"This decision of coming back to Azimio is the deciding factor in this election. If Kalonzo muscles up his troops across the country and moves forward to run for presidency, I can assure you that neither the deputy president William Ruto nor Raila Odinga can get the 50+1 percent vote mark. Its a fact." Said Matungulu MP Stephen Mule on Citizen TV.

However, there have been talks of wooing Kalonzo back to the Azimio team which he had earlier ditched after Raila picked Martha Karua as his running mate.
