"It Is Null And Void" High Court Slaps Uhuru With A Ruling Terming His Move As Unconstitutional

Today, the president of the republic of Kenya hon Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and his goverment in general was handed another landmark ruling from the Kenyan judiciary. According to reports, this ruling termed one of his recent moves as null and void as well as unconstitutional.

As reported by the Kenyans.co.ke through their official facebook page, the high court through their judges ruled that president Uhuru Kenyatta's recent decision to assign AG Kihara some ministerial duties was against the law. Instead, the high court advised the head of state to consider establishing a new ministry that will handle any constituional duties.

"In the latest judgment delivered on Friday, December 3, the High Court termed his move to assign the AG Cabinet Secretary roles as unconstitutional.According to the ruling, Uhuru ought to have assigned the roles to a Cabinet Secretary in charge of Justice and Constitutional Affairs instead of Kariuki." Said the Kenyans.co.ke.
