Earlier today elders from Elwak under Mandera South Constituency held a meeting with the aim of choosing their preferred women Representatives in the next general election.
Honourable Umulkheir Kassim is a young energetic woman who is currently working as nominated Member of county assembly and she has potential to run for the seat to replace Amina Gedow Hassan who is the current women Representatives.
She is a bornified resident of Mandera by birth and he is currently seeking for the position of women Representatives.
She is currently doing PHD at university of Nairobi and she promised the residents of Mandera that she will deliver good service for them.
Among the promises are as follows.
Building of health facilities, drilling more boreholes, construction of schools, road infrastructure and as well creating employment for unemployed youths.
The area residents are happy with her promises and ready to vote for her as their next incoming women Representatives.
She requested the residents to vote for her as their incoming women Representatives in the next general election.
Finally she assured the residents of Mandera that she will fulfill the above mentioned promises once elected.
The residents are satisfied and happy with her promises and say Umulkheir Tano Fresh.
