President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday, 25th January, held a high profile meeting with a cross-section of Western Kenya leaders who paid him a courtesy visit at State House, Nairobi.

The leaders who the President met were drawn from the five Western Kenya Counties of Kakamega, Bungoma, Busia, Trans-Nzoia and Vihiga, a few days after Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi's 'earthquake announcement' at Bomas of Kenya.
Mudavadi has broken silence on President Uhuru's meeting with the Western Kenya leaders sending a bold message to the president.

Mudavadi has reacted to the meeting stating that Uhuru has every right to be disappointed with him, but Kenyans are even more disappointed in him as the President, are hungry and are tired.
"Mr President, you have a right to be disappointed with me. But, I want to tell you: Kenyans are even more disappointed in you. They are hungry, they are tired. Let's not lie to each other."H.E @MusaliaMudavadi in Eldama Ravine.#EarthquakeInNakuru
