Minimal Survival Chances For Most North Eastern Kenya Leaders

About a year to the next general election and already movements launched for the forthcoming 2022 ballot contestants.

Analyzing the North Eastern Kenya politics by all accounts and according to the elections and oaths of a governor, Governors are elected by popular ballot and serve terms of four years, with limit of two terms.

Mandera county evidently set to elect a new Governor following the current county governor's second term coming to expire middle next year.

Some reliable sources suggesting that the out going governor might be grooming himself up for another top position within the county.

Members of Parliaments representing Mandera East, Mandera North, and Banisa, respectively also are facing stiff prospects with most of the locals yearning for change.

Wajir county politics somewhat remains skeptical with two formers governors (Ahmed jiir & Mohamed Abdi), and several other fresh candidates battling for the prime seat.

As gathered from activists and political analyzers in the said county, local commanders like the community elders desire testing a fresh governor than re-electing any of the two old governors.
