The news reaching our desk is that Western region members of parliament have held a meeting in Bungoma today. The news of the meeting has been shared by the brother of Moses Wetangula Tim Wanyonyi who was at the centre of planning the meeting.
He was keen to note that the leaders have understood the importance of unity and thus are willing to be one big community. He highlighted that their main aim is to ensure that they address their region as one party to ensure that development is realised in Bungoma and other counties.
Tim Wanyonyi has revealed that it is a new dawn for them where they will speak under one leadership, one voice and give their agenda as one community. This is a good political move since the leaders will now make sure that their numbers count in future general elections.
