Ex President Uhuru Kenyatta who is the lead facilitator in the Democratic Republic of Congo conflict mediation for East African Community, EAC has today revealed what broke his heart after he went to DRC for his peace envoy role.

The ex President has revealed that he had a chance to talk to the civil society, local community leaders and talking to those directly affected by the conflict, the women, the children is the one that touched him the most.
"..And the one that touched me the most is talking to the those that have been directly affected by this conflict, the women and children.." Kenyatta said.

The ex President noted that the war which has lasted for more than 20 years cannot be solved by one sitting but noted that it was necessary to that they start on a roadmap to ensure an everlasting peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
