The entry of Martha Wangari karua as the running mate of the retired former prime minister in the Azimio coalition might push the Kenya kwanza to the drawing board since the outcome is becoming significant with only seventy six days to the general election.
Kenya kwanza has been been enjoying massive support from the mount Kenya region as much as 80 percent of the support but Mountain seems to be becoming slippery as the general election nears.
Kanini kega who is the member of Parliament for Kieni East and a key campaigner of Azimio la Umoja in mount Kenya region has projected that the coalition is enjoying at least 50 percent of the support in the Mountain and will be at 70 percent as the financial year ends.
" we are now at 50% percent mark in Mount kenya! Hii kitu imeisha. FYI we only needed 30% pass mark." Kanini wrote in his facebook page.
Kanini who says that Raila Odinga needed only 30 percent of the votes from the mountain is quite confident that Odinga has surpassed the pass mark and will win the presidency.
