Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party leader Rt. Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga has warned President William Samoei Ruto that they will storm the State House in the next ten days. Odinga said that Ruto's illegitimate government has made the lives of Kenyans unbearable. While speaking in Trans Nzoia County, Raila said they will storm State House to remove President Ruto from office if he will not lower the cost of living.
However, President William Ruto responded to Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party leader Rt. Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga's remarks immediately. According to Ruto, the country is done with cheap politics. Ruto said that they will not be intimidated by Raila's daily demands that cannot be attainable within the next ten days. While addressing Kenyans, Ruto laughed at Raila's demands saying mass actions and demonstrations no longer yields development.
"We can't be planning demonstrations and mass actions while the rest of the world is focused on development, we will be left behind. We are focused on recovering our economy. We have no time for cheap politics." Ruto responded.
Dr. Ruto's response elicited mixed reactions as Kenyans publicly told him that he was the one who asked for strong opposition. Others asked why he is busy creating illegal offices for his political cronies yet people are dying of hunger. Kindly view the attached for more mixed reactions across the political divide.
