New Alliance in the Making? Speculations High as Kalonzo, Moi Reportedly Makes Surprise U-Turn Today

It is no longer doubtless that Wiper Party Leader Hon Kalonzo Musyoka (Pictured Below) and his counterpart in KANU Party Hon Gideon Moi have already changed their minds ahead of the upcoming 2022 General election.

This follows the confirmation of reports that the two political bigwigs are now working 24 hours trying to forge an alliance with the ODM Party Leader Hon Raila Odinga, who has constantly delivered signals that he will vie the presidential seat come 2022. According to the news by the star on Saturday, There are indications that while Musalia is said to be playing hard ball, Kalonzo and Gideon could be quietly working on a behind-the-scenes deal with Raila’s men ahead of the 2022 polls.

Kalonzo is considered a pricey political heavyweight at the moment given that he has the capacity to galvanise over 2 million votes from his Ukambani turf.

At the same time, Political analysts have now indicated that Kalonzo and Moi's alleged decision to Join Raila's Team will be an added advantage to the Deputy President William Ruto who will have an easy time in marshalling Musalia Mudavadi to Join His camp, something that will boost his (Ruto) Bid bearing in mind that the western block carries over 4 Million votes.

When Ruto combines His Rift Valley backyard, Western, Mt Kenya and a section of coastal region votes, Peter Kagwanja a Kenyan Political analyst argues that Raila and his team will be walking on a tight and lonely path come 2022.The political guru argues that even though President Uhuru Kenyatta's hinted at supporting Raila, There are fears in Uhuru’s camp that a fragmented opposition would vanquish Uhuru’s bid to block Ruto from becoming the tenant at State House for the next five years.
