Standoff In Ruto's Camp As His Man Rejects ANC Demands In Western.

UDA senator aspirant for vihiga Jackson Swadi in a past function.

The Kenya kwanza alliance led by the deputy president William Ruto continues to face challenges as it prepares to face it's formidable rival Azimio la umoja led by Raila Odinga.

The constituent parties within KKA have been decrying bullying by UDA as they gasp for breathe within the coalition.

The ANC party lead by Musalia Mudavadi has been asking Ruto's side to consider withdrawing candidates in Vihiga county which is considered it's stronghold.

There was some light at the end of the tunnel when UDA women representative aspirant jackline Mwenezi stepped aside in favor of Beatrice adagala of ANC.

However, the senatorial aspirant Jackson swadi has refused to step aside for Enock Butiko of ANC.

According to Swadi, it's Butiko who is supposed to step aside in his favor because UDA has already sacrificed Mwenesi in their favor.

He accused Mudavadi of fielding weak candidates who are likely to make him and Kenya kwanza lose seats to rivals.

He said he is the strongest candidate and therefore should be supported instead of being asked to step down.

His sentiments were supported by Mwenesi who said that Kenya kwanza is likely to lose if they don't play smart. She warned that internal rivalry will cost them seats.
