Kenyan politics always revolve around to candidates who have huge followings, and among them is the ODM leader Raila Odinga who has run for the seat four times since 1997, 2007, 2013 and 2017. Raila Odinga popularly known to many as Baba, if he will vie again in the coming general election 2022 and fail, then he will have tried for the fifth time without success.
This time round, new contestants have emerged among them being Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi, who resigned from United nations job to declare his interest of becoming the next president. Also, Professor Kivutha Kibwana, who is the Makueni County Governor has declared his interest to vie for the top seat.
These two people are top scholars in this country and they have great minds to move the country further. Now, as you can see Ironically, Raila has been working closely with Musalia Mudavadi from Western region and Kalonzo Musyoka who comes from eastern region.
Coincidently Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi comes from the western region and Prof Kivutha Kibwana from eastern region. Raila's post with these two great men has raised question on whether Mudavadi and Kalonzo are being replaced by Dr. Mukhisa and Kivutha repectively or what is the direction they are taking?
