Former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, is set to begin a three day tour of Mount Kenya Region starting tomorrow morning. His last tour of the region was largely successful and caused jitters, in Deputy President William Ruto's camp due to the large number of people who came to welcome Raila, especially in Nyahururu.
Central Kenya was initially known to be hostile towards the Former Premier, but all that changed due to the handshake between Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta who hails from the region.
After concluding a widely successful tour of the North rift, having toured Turkana, Isiolo and Eldoret where he was well received, Raila will be looking to further boost his popularity with an impressive campaign in East Mount Kenya.
