Makueni senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr has today came out to oppose the use of the manual voter register by the independent electoral and boundaries commission in the upcoming 9th August 2022 general elections.
The Wiper ally who is eyeing Makueni gubernatorial seat has said that anything to do with the manual register they will reject it, he says that it is the main reason that led to the nullification of the 2017 general elections in which former prime minister challenged the win of president Uhuru Kenyatta successfully at the Supreme court of Kenya that was headed by CJ Martha Koome's predecessor, David Maraga.
This can come out to be a blow to Raila Odinga, it is because the Azimio One Kenya Alliance flag bearer is the one who called the IEBC to allow the use of manual register in the elections alongside with the digital register, Mutula Kilonzo has challenged it despite the fact he is in Azimio.
