Deputy President William Ruto is the current party leader of UDA while his close opponent the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga the party leader of ODM. These two politicians have been regarded as the top contenders in the next general elections that will be held on August 2022 because of the fact that they command millions of supporters.
Despite their mastery in matters politics, the two have been making a lot of mistakes during their political campaigns which they have been conducting in various parts of the country with an intention of mobilizing more people to support them and vote for them in the next presidential elections.

One of the first mistake is launching attacks on each other. Whenever the two have been given a podium to deliver their speech in the recent days, they have been seen saying the wrong deeds done by their opponent and referring to each other with names that are somehow unfit to say in the public domain. They have come out to show how angry they are towards each other something that they should consider avoiding because it does not display a good image.
The second mistake is trying to forcefully influence Kenyans to elect them as each one of them has been saying they are the right leaders the nation needs. Instead of doing this, they should speak about their manifestos and let the people decide democratically who they want to lead them. They should prevent themselves from telling people that they are the best but make known their good deeds.

The last one is thinking that their political enemy should also be the enemy of the people who support. They should try staying away from making people feel like because they are in conflict with a certain leader their supporters should also be involved in and term them as their enemy. This is because citizens have the right to love whoever person they want and they should not be told that this one is good and the other is bad.
