Agriculture cabinet secretary has revealed the Government plan after they levied sh. 2 on maize floor.
Many Kenyans including leaders had said the Government should take an action to ensure that vulnerable families which occupies the biggest percentage of the Kenyan population be able to buy food at an affordable price.
Revealing the Government plan, Peter Munya has said that even after they levied the Sh. 2 on maize floor, they have gone overseas to look for maize for importation.
However, Munya has told Kenyans not to rely on the maize and maize floor as the only food. He has told them to used other food instead of maize to curb the rising crisis in the country.
