While speaking at a function in Kipkaren, Mosop constituency on Friday, Milcah argued that she had no qualms with the move by Dr Ruto to work with Raila. In her observation, the DP was ready to welcome any politician who was willing to work with him regardless of their political persuasion.
However, the County Assembly lawmaker asserted that the former prime minister should not be given much powers to dictate the direction of Dr Ruto's ahead of 2022 polls.
"We allow Raila to come to our camp but we will not allow him to sit down until he is shown where to sit," said Milcah.
This follows after claims did rounds in public alleging that ODM leader Raila Odinga was working out a plan on how approach and work with deputy president Dr William Ruto ahead of 2022 polls.
Nevertheless, the DP's footsoldiers, particularly from Mt Kenya region among them Mathira Member of Parlianent Rigathi Ghagua and his Bahati counterpart Onesmus Kimani Ngunjiri have opposed the decision by Raila to join Dr Ruto's camp.
Some of Dr Ruto and Raila's allies have, nevertheless, welcomed the suggestion arguing that it would be a game-changer in 2022 .
This comes as politicians in Kenya prepare themselves for the 2022 general elections. They have formed political parties and coalitions which appeal to them.
