The Azimio La Umoja team is now in facing alot of challenges after some of their members joined the deputy president William Ruto's team of Kenya kwanza. According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the Azimio La Umoja running mate Hon Martha Karua has said that it is illegal for the president elect to welcome leaders from other coalition.
According to her speech which she made during the burial ceremony in Kirinyaga county, Hon Martha Karua has asked the deputy president William Ruto to stop welcoming leaders from his coalition since it is against the constitution. This has come after some of Azimio La Umoja leaders joined the Kenya kwanza team.
Among the leaders who ditched the Azimio La Umoja coalition party includes the Mandera senator and governor elect Hon Ali Roba. Despite that, all kenyans are urged to maintain peace among each other during this time of election.
