Reports of a poll revealing the likelihood of deputy president William Ruto leading in seven regions ahead of 2022 general elections emerged online leading to mixed reactions among Kenyans.
According to reports, a poll that was conducted by the Radio Africa group poll indicated that William Ruto is currently ahead of Raila Odinga in terms of popularity and people's choices.
It showed that Deputy President William Ruto is leading in Central province by 59.8%, Nairobi 44.8%, North Eastern 40.2%, North Rift 55.7%, South Rift 59.4%, and Upper Eastern 55.8%.
On the other hand, ODM party leader Raila Odinga is leading in three regions namely Western by 42.0%, Nyanza 66.0%, and Coast 42.0%. According to analysis DP Ruto is likely to gather many votes countrywide and probably lead the race.
Nevertheless, every candidate has an equal chance of winning the presidency depending on how much they will widely convince voters to vote on their favorites. Your opinion regarding this poll is also welcomed.
