The deputy president William Ruto today held a rally in Lamu county where he was escorted by some leaders from different parts of the country. According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the deputy president William Ruto donated some amount of money to the women and small scale tarders at Mpeketoni Lamu west constituency.Despite that, the deputy president William Ruto was escorted by some leaders who agreed to support him in the next general election. The leaders who escorted Ruto to Lamu county today includes Nyali member of parliament Hon Ali Muhammed. The other leaders includes the Malindi member of parliament Hon Aisha Jumwa, Garisa township member of parliament Hon Aden Duale, incoming Mombasa governor Hassan Omar, United Democratic Alliance party blogger Denis Itumbi, Irungu Kang'ata among other leaders.
The deputy president William Ruto also addressed the residents where he promised them good market to their products if he becomes the president. Remember to wear mask and maintain social distance so that we can overcome this deadly disease called covid-19 in our country.
