The latest information suggests that Hon. Najib Balala, who has long held the position of Minister of Tourism, has landed in a prestigious position just a few days after being replaced as CS by President William Ruto.
He has reportedly been chosen to serve as a new vice president of the global conservation organization Fauna and Flora International (FFI).
When William Ruto was declared the winner of the most recent presidential election, Balala was the first Cabinet Secretary under President Uhuru Kenyatta to congratulate him.
Additionally, he is the first of those CS to obtain a significant position right after being replaced. When he congratulated the winners, many assumed he was competing for a position in president William Ruto's administration, but his humility has paid off.
