Uhuru Lands In, Expects To Address The Nation On Mashujaa Day or Anytime, What Kenyans Should Expect

On Friday, 15 October, President Uhuru Kenyatta came back home after being away from the country for one week. President Uhuru Kenyatta was welcomed home by several leaders at the Jomo Kenya International Airport.

However, according to the report, the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport was temporarily closed due to President Uhuru Kenyatta's return. The fights in and out of the country were temporarily stopped.

President Uhuru Kenyatta's return is just four days before the celebrations of Mashujaa Day. This implies that the President will be addressing the nation during or even before the event.


Some of the issues that Kenyans should expect President Uhuru Kenyatta to address on include:

1. President Uhuru Kenyatta's succession.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has has a few months to retire as the Head of State. However upto this moment, President Uhuru is yet to announc his preferred person who will continue with his legacy.

Therefore, Kenyans should expect President Uhuru to announce his successor anytime. Even je can do so during Mashujaa Day celebrations.

2. Offshore Accounts facing President Uhuru and his family. President Uhuru Kenyatta is also expected to address on the issue of Pandora Papers. Ealier on president Kenyatta said that the October 3 Pandora expose did not directly link him to any offshore account or business. However, he said that he will address the matter when he is back.
