David Murathe, the current Jubilee Party Vice Chairman has now landed in trouble over his alleged involvement in the 2020 KEMSA Scandal that saw billions of Kenyans taxpayer's money disappear mysteriously.
This is after fresh reports from KTN News on Thursday night reveal that Murathe was and will continue to be the main actor who colluded with the Ministry of Health through KEMSA, something that saw him winning a tender worth over kshs 4.5billion.
Also, it has also emerged that David Murathe is the Managing Director and the man Behind the Kilig Limitted, an hardware company that won tenders to supply Covid-19 materials such as Face masks, PPES, and Gloves, even though it was registered in February 2020, 6 months before receiving tenders.
But the news has contradicted David Murathe's latest claims that Deputy President William Ruto, his wife Racheal Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua amongst other allies are part and parcel of the Kilig Limitted. Speaking to Inooro Tv on Sunday, David Murathe denied conducting any businesses with Government related entities while at the same time denying allegations that he's behind the Kilig Limited.
But to add salt to injury, the Parliament has now given David Murathe a period of fewer than 7 days from today, to appear before the Parliamentary health committee of the National Assembly, where is expected to answer various questions, even though the media station cannot independently be able in a position to know the exact questions.
