Every candidate is playing hard and smart to convince the voters of Kirinyaga county to support their candidacy. Hon. Purity Wangui Ngirici is an independent Candidate after the disagreement that occurred in UDA after gover Ann Waiguru joined UDA last year October 26th.
Kirinyaga member of parliament is becoming relevant to the voters of Kirinyaga county as thousands of voters today turned up to listen to her . Hon. Purity Ngirici Wangui today led her campaigns in Gichugu constituency at Kiamutugu where she received heroic reception. The large crowd that turned up to listen to her showed that the Kirinyaga member of parliament has risen in popularity and her ambitions to become the third governor of Kirinyaga county may be unstoppable.
The Kirinyaga gubernatorial race may take a new twist if the women representative decide to join the president Uhuru Kenyatta in jubilee party which now will be making the the race to be between tho force of president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy Hon. William Ruto.
