Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga has been dealt blow amid his attempt attempt to climb the Mountain ahead of 2022 polls as Nyeri Speaker also Jubilee Insider John Kaguchia claims, the opposition chief cannot be sold in Mount Kenya.
Speaking through Citizen TV morning breakfast show, Hon Kaguchia play down the ongoing rumors Mount Kenya is divided ahead of battle bruise, as he says, the region is still intact as it was in 2913,2017 elections.
"Mount Kenya region is taken over politically. The Mountain is solidly united, the people divided are few politician but the region remain as intact as 2013, 2017." He begun
However, with politician moving around the Mountain to drum support among them UDA associate DP William Ruto, ANC principal Musalia Mudavadi and ODM leader Raila Odinga just but a few, the Nyeri Speaker claim, Raila cannot be sold in the Region.
According to him, even if Raila will climb the mountain to gain short term popularity, he will eventually lose with politician currently standing with him will soon dessert him.
"Raila Odinga can't be sold in the mountain and even if he gain popularity, he will eventually lose, the politician standing with him dessert him, they know they can't sell him." Drops the shockers.
To his view, the region is now focusing on grooming new candidate to battle out UDA associate William Ruto after fallout with his boss, President Kenyatta with allegations Musalia Mudavadi could be the possible options for the Uhuru's successor considering area leaders, Sabina Chege, Kanini Kega, Martha Karua among others accompanied Mudavadi to Muranga.
"I hope you have seen what happened on Sunday, Kanini Kega, Sabina Chege, Martha Karua accompanied Mudavadi to Murang'a, this tells they are not ready to accompany Raila when he visits the area." He concluded.
