Sonko Mourns Death Of Girl Who Lost Both Hands In Accident

Flamboyant former Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi who is currently aspiring for the Mombasa gubernatorial seat is mourning the death of Linet Pendo.Linet Pendo was amongst the accident victims who Sonko was supporting by catering for their medical expenses and hospital bills at the Moi Referral Hospital in Voi.The victims had been involved in accident on 4th July on their way to Mombasa from Nairobi where they had gone for medical tests as they were planning to travel to the Middle East for Job opportunities.

Sonko expressed his sadness of Pendo's death.Pendo hailed from Malindi in Kilifi County.She had lost both hands in the accident involving the Mombasa bound bus.Sonko sent condolences to Pendo's family and friends describing her as a young girl who was so promising before she met her untimely death.

"It is so sad that one of the accident victims from the Mombasa bound bus that I visited on Sunday night at the Moi Referral Hospital in Voi has passed on. Sadly, Linet Pendo from Malindi passed on earlier today as she was getting treatment after losing both hands. I wish to send my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of this young girl who was so promising before she met her untimely death," Sonko mourned.

Sonko also notified that he had cleared the hospital bills of all casualities and will also clear for the deceased family one they processed release of the remains of the loved ones.He also promised to support the next of kin of the casualities looking after their patients to ensure they have adequate support for basic neccesities such as food throughout their stay in hospital with their loved ones.

Sonko has urged members of the public to remember the families of the victims of the accident in their prayers and ask God to give them grace to overcome the difficult moment. May Pendo Rest In Peace.
