Aron Cheruiyot, who's the current senator of Kericho county has been serving the county since the appointment Charles Keter to the Ministry of Energy who had been duly elected in 2013.
Aron Cheruiyot followed the deputy president suit to walk out of Jubilee party after the fall out between the deputy president William Samoei Ruto and Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kericho county senator elect has made some fun of Uhuru following the ongoing declining support for Raila Amolo Odinga in Mt Kenya region. Uhuru Kenyatta has been in the forefront campaigning for Raila Odinga since the March 2018 handshake. Uhuru has been continuing loosing the grip of Mt Kenya votes to his deputy William Ruto since votes counting started.
Kericho county senator elect posted this about Uhuru s situation
The votes counting is on progress but to make things worse is the fact that most of Uhuru s party (jubilee) candidates have been voted out .I e James Nyoro for kiambu gubernatorial seat, Jeremiah jioni, majority leader Amos Kimunya, Kimani Wambugu etc lost their seats to United Democratic Part which is led by William Ruto. Majority of the above mentioned candidates have already conceded defeat.
This shows that Uhuru Kenyatta has lost the control of his region .
