Despite allegations that there are ongoing talks to have the Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka rejoin hands with Raila Odinga, under the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance, his final decision will be made public once he jets back to the country from London and meets his foot soldiers.
Kalonzo announced his presidential bid and unveiled his running mate before retreating for 'reflection' at his Yatta Farm after which he left the country for a 'private trip in London.
A number of his allies have noted that the first thing that will be at the center of Kalonzo's sit down with his allies, and party officials will be the Chief Cabinet Secretary position Raila has assigned to him.
But according to Political Commentator Herman Manyora, the talks will be a waste of time, and Kalonzo should move with speed, talk with Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta, and agree to take the position.
Through his You Tube Page, Manyora claims that should Kalonzo drag his feet as far as the position is concerned, and Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu is assigned the slot, then Kalonzo will have been sent to political oblivion, and his chances of making a comeback will be almost zero.
"If Ngilu takes on Kalonzo's job, it's a game shot and Raila can go on holiday. Kalonzo can then go home and herd goats. Someone should tell him to run very fast to Uhuru and Raila and take that offer before it is given to Ngilu. Kalonzo should now help himself, he is becoming irrelevant by the day," argued Manyora.
