The opposition governor from Nyanza region revealed that as council of governors they will continue to push for increased and timely resources to counties.

The vocal opposition county chief also warmly interacted with the head of state in the sidelines of the ongoing cabinet retreat in Nanyuki based Fairmont Safari Hotel.
Wanga was pictured laughing and engaging president William Ruto flanked by council of governors chair Anne Waiguru, South Murirango legislator who doubles as majority chief whip Silvanus Osoro and interior principal secretary Raymond Omollo.
Other opposition county chiefs who graced the retreat includes; Mutula Kilonzo Junior, Wavinya Ndeti, Wilbur Ottichillo, Anyang Nyongo, Fernandes Barasa and Adan Nathif.
