Tight Security As Aisha Jumwa Arrives In Mombasa For Key Event

Aisha Jumwa, the cabinet secretary for public service and affirmative action, arrived in Mombasa for a significant event amid tight security.

The new CS arrived in Mombasa with tight security and a blowing siren in a police escort car that was carefully positioned in front of the convoy, according to footage supplied by NTV reporter Kevin Mutai.

Earlier on, the conference has been called by the head of state, according to the Standard daily, to review the plans that the cabinet secretaries have in the years leading up to 2023, the year when President Ruto would be celebrating his first year in office.

According to sources before the meeting, as he starts to usher in new administrators, the head of state is now advising that all Cabinet secretaries produce a report of their whole plan for the year 2023 and go ahead.

The creation of The Hustler fund, which has so far seen approximately 20 billion sent to two different organizations and individuals in the country, has been the biggest success during the president's first 100 days in office.

The high cost of living, which has become a major concern for hundreds of Kenyans who voted for the Kenya kwanza coalition led by the president, has presented the president with his largest challenge to date.

Among the cabinet secretaries who will attend the meeting is Davis Chirchir, cabinet secretary for energy, who will be up against fierce opposition from Kenyans who blame the high cost of electricity tariffs. Aisha Juma and Moses Kuria are among the others.
