Bad News to MP Tim Wanyonyi After Fresh Details Reveal Why All Nairobi ODM MPs Missed his Top Event

It has emerged that the entry of Westlands Constituency Member of Parliament Honourable Tim Wanyonyi into the Nairobi gubernatorial race could scuttle talks between Jubilee and ODM parties.

Fresh details have revealed that both Jubilee party leader and his Orange Democratic Movement ODM party counterpart are in negotiations on who will be given Nairobi ticket in the upcoming general elections.

Sources have revealed that president Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee had secured the support of the ODM party in exchange for their support of Raila Odinga to be the next Head of State with Uhuru's blessings.

This could be the reason as to why all the ODM party elected Members of Parliament from Nairobi County missed the top event that saw Hon Tim Wanyonyi declare his intention to be the next city governor.

His declaration has already received backlash from the Nairobi county ODM chairperson who is also the Makadara Constituency Member of Parliament Honourable George Aladwa.

George Aladwa said Wanyonyi’s launch could jeopardise the talks between the two parties.

“We had agreed that we put everything on hold until Raila declares whether he will vie next year or not. We are still negotiating with our Jubilee partners. I feel that his (Wanyonyi’s) timing was wrong. In any case, what is the hurry for?” posed Aladwa.
