Farmers party leader Irungu Nyakera, a Murang'a gubernatorial candidate who doubles up as a principal of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, has lamented over his Sister's move to support Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya coalition party presidential flagbearer Raila Odinga.

Nyakera argued that his sister Joyce Wambui Njoki has betrayed him by supporting a rival to his Preffered presidential candidate. He argued that he hosted and Schooled Her and even placed her children in school but still she decided to betray him.

Njoki who is also vying for the Kiru Ward seat under the Jubilee ticket in the August 9 polls was appointed by the former prime minister to lead his campaigns in Murang’a County where Nyakera is among those tasked with delivering votes to deputy president William Ruto's basket.
