In her post, the lagislator revealed that after taking the vaccine, she felt drowsy though she said she is now fine. In some cases, medicinal drugs do induce one to feel sleepy shortly after being administered into the body.
The lawmaker is among the Members of Parliament who have received the vaccine as a priority way of protecting them due to the fact that they mingle during the sessions.
The Ministry of Health has announced that all Kenyans shall access the vaccines. However, the jab shall first be prioritized to front line workers such as nurses, doctors, teachers, the police among others.
The Covid-19 vaccines arrived into Kenya at a time when the country is facing heavy impact of the third wave which has claimed more lives and high rate of infections than before.
