William Ruto intensifies his campaign tour by visiting Mt.Kenya,he was today in Kigumo constituency for the first time.William Ruto appreciated churches for supporting the government in the development and social matters of the country while in Ngaburi AIPCA church in Kigumo constituency,Murang'a county,he also acknowledged the church for it's support for nationalism through their fight for independence.
The deputy president insisted on his move of uniting the country where everyone while be free to move anywhere in the country.He explained that his Nyanza tour last week was towards uniting Kenyans and called for leaders to participate in competitive politics rather than politics based on ethnicity.
The DP was accompanied by several leaders including Irungu Kang'ata,Ndindi Nyoro,Alice Wahome and James Gakuya the Embakasi North Mp who were all in support for his political agenda of Bottom Up Economic Model.William Ruto asked the Mt Kenya people to not to vote for Raila Odinga because he is a better candidate who will reprieve this country.
While in Ngonda town in Murang'a county,Ruto mentioned several developments that the government has made to Murang'a residents which are;development of railway transport, developnent of more roads,rural electrification and development of more technical colleges where they have benefited by having six more technical institution to help the youth get technical skills a move to providing employment to the youths.He criticized Raila Odinga for interfering with the Jubilee government big four agenda through his building bridges initiative a reggae that was stopped through God's intervention.
The deputy president launched the Kangari United Dairy Cooperative society Limited in Kigumo in Murang'a county an example of the small scale societies that he will finance and role out under his Bottom Up Economic Model to help farmers improve production their income and also provide job opportunities to people.
