The crowning of National Assembly speaker, Justin Muturibwhich is planned to take place on Saturday 22nd May 2021 is taking another twist as Kikuyu elders and political leaders in the area lock horns. The elders are split within their ranks with three groups emerging whereby one is in support and the other two oppose the plans. At the shrine where the coronation is due to take place was a beehive of activities with people not minding the fact that the elders are sharply divided. According to the elders planning the ceremony, leaders in the region have failed to give directions to the people of Mt. Kenya.
