The Deputy President Dr William Samoei Ruto has received a lot of criticism after he derogatory refered to the Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa as a woman. The latest one being Professor Lonyangapuo who has criticised his statements and has said that he was surprised by the utterances. Ruto has been under fire from all corners.
The Deputy President said that in their community they do not beat women, metaphorically referring to the CS of Defence. Prof. Lonyangapuo has said that he did not expect Dp. Ruto to stoop soo low and abuse he CS with very heavy words and expects him to be a man of integrity, honest and distinguished individual. He has advised those close to him to talk to him so that he may not do the same again.
This comes as the general elections are very close and are just 21 days remaining. The Deputy President Dr William Samoei Ruto is one of the popular leaders in the country.
