Following his productive meeting at the Kamukunji Grounds, opposition leader Raila Odinga posted a message on social media warning President William Ruto's administration of what is in store for them in the days ahead.
The ODM leader claimed that Kenyans, or more specifically his supporters, will "deal with" President Ruto's purportedly ill-conceived policies, especially those that would have a negative effect on Kenyans.
He stated that, along with other Azimio la Umoja One Kenya politicians and Kenyans in general, they would restore Kenya's constitutionalism and take advantage of all the rights outlined in that document.
"Constitutionalism, the rule of law, and order will be reinstated. The constitution gives the people the ability to directly exercise their rights and to take back any previously assigned duties. The people will deal with the poorly thought-out policies of this regime that have an adverse effect on them, "Tweets from Raila.
At his first public consultation meeting, Raila was able to draw in a sizable crowd. He requested that his supporters attend their upcoming consultation meeting and Jamuhuru Day celebrations at Jacaranda Grounds.
