First Lady Margaret Kenyatta and President Uhuru Kenyatta made their way to the voting location at Mutomo Primary School in Gatundu South earlier today.

He then followed the poll worker's instructions; depositing each ballot paper in the appropriate ballot box at each stop in the polling place.

From the moment he left the station, Uhuru gave off the impression that everything would go according to plan for the entire day.

He added urged Kenyans to maintain their composure throughout the voting process, stressing that it would be free and fair.

He stated that everything seems to be working and the process was easy and quick and they just hope it remains like way for the remainder of the day.

He added that every Kenyan should vote and he personally believes that the elections will be peaceful and free. After serving a two-year term in office, President Kenyatta will step down.

Mama Ngina Kenyatta; the mother of Kenyatta, had earlier arrived at the location to cast her ballot.
