Deputy president William Ruto has once again raided Raila's Nyanza stronghold. Today the chief hustler has welcomed to his camp the immediate former Awendo Constituency member of parliament Hon. Jared Kopiyo.
The vocal politician was taken to Ruto's Karen residence by his Nyanza foot soldier Eliud Owalo. Kopiyo was welcomed by both Owalo and the United Democratic Alliance party.
"Earlier today I joined DP William Ruto in welcoming to the Hustler Nation Hon. Jared Kopiyo, the immediate former MP for Awendo Constituency." Owalo posted on his social media pages.
Kopiyo's move to join Ruto's camp is of a great importance to his presidential bid considering that Ruto is keen on getting support from different parts of the country including the areas Perceived to be the strongholds of his opponents.
Apart from the vote rich Mount Kenya region, the second in command has made significant inroads into the areas that nobody thought he would Penetrate.
