A coalition is defined as a temporary group or union of organizations, usually formed for a particular advantage. In politics therefore a coalition is a temporary group that is formed with an aim of delivering victory in general elections, examples of coalitions that were popular are the Cord coalition of 2013, Jubilee coalition and NASA coalition of 2017 among many others.
As the 2022 general elections draw near, there will be several political realignments that will occur with the primary aim of delivering a president. As by now only one alliance that has been set up, the One Kenya Alliance of Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula, Kalonzo Musyoka and Gideon Moi.
Going forward into the 2022 general elections there will be much considerations as to how to present the highest number of voters and for that reason i forsee a formidable coalition between Orange Democratic Movement merging with the ruling Jubilee party and with the One Kenya Alliance. If the coalition will be formed, it will be a hard rock to break basing on their combined forces.
