Will Power Of The People Make Ruto President?

Kenya's deputy president William Ruto today visited Nandi County for a "thank you" to the nandi county assembly members and later on the day have an empowerment meeting with the boda boda riders.

It is believed that in politics to be a president you must have crowd and money for you to be successful. It seems Ruto is beating the other leaders who have declared their interest in the top position as he has been able to pull a multitude of people in several places he has been to.

Today, nandi county showed their love for their son as they came out in large numbers to receive one of their own. The crowd that might cause sleepless nights to the deep State who have one time or another criticized Ruto of several offenses and also ended up to teargas his allies in rallies.

The kind of crowd Ruto is pulling this year can only be compared to those of Raila in 2007 when everyone believed that the current opposition leader would clinch to the top seat but it was vise versa. May this might also happen to Ruto as several political analyst have been heard saying that crowds does not bring votes.
