Dennis Itumbi is undoubtedly one of the best and popular bloggers and digital strategists in Kenya.He is a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto and other politicians aligned to United Democratic Alliance- UDA.He is also the self-proclaimed spokesperson of Hustler Nation.
Today, the court has found him with a case to answer for spreading information alleging a plot to assassinate the Deputy President.Itumbi alleged that the plot to assassinate Ruto was planned by Cabinet Secretaries: Joe Mucheru, Peter Munya and Sicily Kariuki.The there were even summoned by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) but denied whatever Itumbi purpoted.
The claim dates back to the year 2019 and he alleged that the meeting was organized by the three members of the cabinet took place at a place known as La Mada.
What followed next was the formation of a huge rift in the cabinet.
