Talking at Ogembo town,the youths said the elders have always told them to be peace lovers and they adhered. Now they ask the council of elders to reciprocate by honouring their request.
"We need them to to tell if the Deputy governor is secure' they urged.
The youths' quest comes after the deputy governor said, his life was not safe because his security officers had been withdrawn from him.
Maangi told the public that his life had been threatened as his security was withdrawn from him.Speaking in KIsii town, Maangi said his security had been withdrawn by the government .He associated the withdrawal to his different opinion with his boss James Ongwae.
The deputy governor supports the Tangatanga fuction that is headed by Deputy president William Ruto. Ruto's relationship with president Uhuru,has been waning each day since the latter's handshake with Raila Odinga.

The Kisii youths accused the senior most leaders from Kisii like Chris Obure,Jimmy Angwenyi,SamOngeri and Omingo Magara for keeping quiet when things were worsening in the area.
They appealed to the politicians to forget their political ideologies and differences but join hands with the youths to forge way forward for higher national interests.
"The community has been longing to get one of their own leading the nation,how do they expect to achieve this when they are divided?' asked Justus Monari.
They appealed to the council of elders chairman Matundura Araka, to consult Mzee Simon Nyachae, for the best way forward for the community. The youths told the elders not to intimate them to respect them, when they do not demostrate the way by walking their talk.
The solemn youths asked the Kisii diocese head Bishop Okemwa Mairura, to take the risk and call aspade aspade to the Gusii council of elders whom,they claimed,preach water at day time but at night, they drink wine.They labelled them liers.
The youths pledged their royalty to live by the dictates of the societal norms but threatened to violate them, if some of the elders will not avoid their political pretence.
